Decades of family history behind revamped range being launched at Vinexpo Paris

With four decades of wine production behind them, the Bellanger family have revamped their range of Château Domi-Cours wines for 2020.

The family has a strong commitment to caring for the natural environment at their vineyards, which are certified as being of High Environmental Value – Level 3.

The Château Domi-Cours range is based around four quality levels, namely Quercus, the Château’s Grande Cuvée, Classique, which offers a selection of Bordeaux appellations, Vitae, which is based around a selection of grape varietals, and the introductory level, known as Les Hauts du Château Domi-Cours.

Described as “a new expression of Bordeaux”, the Vitae range has two wines that are being presented for the first time at Vinexpo Paris. There is a 100% Merlot, which is described as having a particularly fruity character, and a “surprisingly fresh” white made from Sauvignon Blanc.

The Château Domi-Cours range is produced at Château Roquefort, an Entre-Deux-Mers estate steeped in history that Jean and Christiane Bellanger breathed new life into after taking over in 1976.

The range complements the Bellanger family’s range of red, whites and rosés produced under the Château Roquefort range.

The Bellanger family works in conjunction with the Faculty of Oenology at the University of Bordeaux to perfect their methods of maturation, winemaking and blending.
