A vineyard on a human scale that cares for the environment
Looking after nature has been a commitment for Château Grand Français since 2002. While the increased importance given to the environment has become particularly evident in the last couple of years, for Château Grand Français it has long been a priority.
This vineyard has been organic farming since 2002 and puts great emphasis on looking after nature, employees and consumers.
“We are also certified vegan, and we attach great importance to biodiversity and to the preservation of all auxiliary insects, which contribute to the balance of the ecosystem,” the vineyard says.
With 12 hectares of vineyards, Château Grand Français describes itself as a “human-sized property”, something that emphasises its commitment to people and to nature.
Management is focused on developing the vineyard: they have increased its size by four hectares and, at Vinexpo Bordeaux, they launched a cuvée.
The vineyard’s wines are exclusively sold on the on-trade circuit to minimise the use of intermediaries and in order to maintain proximity with customers and to keep control of distribution.
“It is essential for us to travel to meet those who trust us and show them our support,” says the vineyard, which at Vinexpo Paris will be at the WOW! (World of Organic Wines) area.
