The leader in terroir wines will be one of the eight top brands present in the prestigious area
AdVini, a French leader in terroir wines, is one of the top brands taking part in L’Avenue at Vinexpo Paris.
This area, which will resemble a line of shop windows from prestigious Paris boutiques, will feature a total of eight market-leading premium brands.
The French leader in terroir wines, AdVini will be able to impress those attending L’Avenue with its impressive environmental credentials.
In all, 1,000 hectares of the company’s vineyards are in organic or biodynamic farming or are High Environmental Value (HVE – Haute Valeur Environnementale) certified.
As an example, at AdVini’s Laroche estate, efforts to preserve biodiversity extend beyond vine activity, with hedgerows having been replanted in the vineyards and beehives, bird boxes and bat boxes set up.
At another of AdVini’s estates, Chateau Gassier, wines obtained organic certification in 2016, benefiting local fauna including butterflies, bats and raptors.
“Organic winemaking practices are more respectful of the terroir and gives the fruit a pure taste,” said Georges Gassier, winemaker.
And to take another example, five of Vignobles Jeanjean’s estates are certified organic, and the other three will be certified for the 2021 vintage, with efforts aimed at taking care of the environment and the health of both consumers and employees.
