Haven’t I seen you on TV?

Bodega Garzón arrives at Vinexpo 2019, hot on the news that it had been chosen by Wine Enthusiast as the first producer to feature in its new Amazon TV series, It Starts with Wine.

The show travels the world exploring the culinary traditions of different countries, and chose what is the largest wine family project in Uruguay, Bodega Garzón as a main feature – for good reason.

Located in the department of Maldonado, a few miles from the exclusive beach resort of Jose Ignacio, the property has 240 hectares of vineyards, growing 15 different grape varieties, including Tannat and Albariño. Garzón can also claim to be the first fully sustainable winery in Latin America, having invested heavily in innovative production methods making it a state-of-the-art icon of the region.

As well as producing a range of quality wines, the Bodega has also become a popular destination for tourists offering a number of different experiences as well as acclaimed gastronomy in its own restaurant, headed up by international chef, Francis Mallmann.
