20 Years… That’s Worth Celebrating!
Vinexpo Hong Kong this year will be celebrating its 20th anniversary as an influential trade show in this vibrant port city, an important trading hub for fine wines in the Far East.
Vinexpo Hong Kong launched in 1998 and at the time was the first foreign brand to believe in Asian growth. Twenty years later, the show has grown to become a strategic platform for importers, buyers and sommeliers working in the Asia-Pacific markets.
The growth of this exhibition continues in 2018. More than just a meeting place where supply meets demand, Vinexpo has today developed into a key measure of the Asian markets. The event enables professionals to analyse the potential of the wine and spirits trades in different countries, to identify trends and widen their commercial horizons.
Vinexpo’s global brand reputation and the strategic location of Hong Kong draw an ever-increasing number of visitors from China, but also more generally from the whole region, with buyers coming from all over Asia Pacific. The circle of global interest continues to grow, with over 50 countries now represented on the show floor.
One might be tempted to say it looks like being a great vintage.
