Nicolas Feuillatte is presenting its 2008 vintage, considered today one of Champagne’s finest vintages, at this year’s Vinexpo in Bordeaux.
2008 was a season of great contrast, with a damp spring following the cold winter. After an unseasonably sunny and dry end to summer, pristine grapes revealing pronounced acidity and good concentration were picked at optimum ripeness. Freshness, elegance and length define the different cuvées crafted in this year by Maison Nicolas Feuillatte.
A blend of Champagne’s three main grape varieties, this cuvée spends four years maturing in the Feuillatte cellars. Powerful and elegant, exuding powerful red fruit aromas of raspberry and strawberry intertwined with white fruit notes of pear and peach, the 2008 Brut Vintage expresses the rich character of one of the finest Champagne vintages.
