Bodega Garzon’s founder Alejandro Bulgheroni and winemaker Alberto Antonini will debut their new icon wine – Balasto – at Vinexpo, so attendees can be the very first to sample this new wine.
Bodega Garzon is located near the southeastern coast of Uruguay, about 170 kilometres from the country’s capital, Montevideo, and only 18 km from the Atlantic Ocean, in a region that is emerging as a leader in the production of Uruguay’s signature varietal, Tannat.
During Vinexpo, Bodega Garzon’s culinary ambassador, chef Francis Mallmann, will host a dinner to showcase the winery’s premier portfolio of wines alongside traditional open- re Uruguayan cuisine.
The winery claims to be the first in the world seeking LEED certification for its entire facility, and is showcasing estate-grown, limited-production premium wines crafted by influential winemaker and viticulturist Alberto Antonini, offering visitors an experience that highlights the best in South American hospitality.
