Gourmet Dishes with Exceptional Wines

La Table des Graves and Pessac- Léognan by la Maison Darroze @ Vinexpo Bordeaux 2017

The Graves and Pessac- Léognan appellations are partnering with la Maison Darroze, a renowned “starred” restaurant located in Langon, to present their wines in a restaurant installed at Vinexpo from June 18 to 21 2017.

In a contemporary and elegant setting facing the lake, diners will be offer a subtle blend of wines from exceptional terroirs and refined regional cuisine. The main attraction of a gourmet restaurant is of course its team and especially its chef.

The Darroze family is especially attentive to its team, which is, they claim, paramount to the success of the enterprise, not the least of whom is the Chef, David Delieuvin.

David, Norman of origin, joined Maison Darroze at the end of 2015, after years of experience between Lyon and Paris. Trained by Michel Troisgros (3 stars in the Michelin Guide) in Roanne, near Lyon, he then worked in Paris with Lancaster, then at the Grande Cascade, 1 Michelin star where he was second chef.

Today, David Delieuvin is chef at Maison Darroze. With his past experiences, David wanted to express himself. His specialty is the sauces.

At Vinexpo, attendees will be offered a seasonal menu specially designed for the event, giving them the opportunity to taste the wines of their choice among a wide range of Crus from Graves, Pessac-Léognan and Crus Classés from Graves.

Visitors will thus be able to appreciate the diversity of the wines of this region, the origin of the great Bordeaux wines. The restaurant opens during the 4 days of the show, proposing a lunch formula at €59 TTC including appetiser, main course, dessert, wine and coffee. Winegrowers of the two appellations will be present to describe their wines.

From 3.30 pm, the teams of Maison Darroze will propose a dessert formula + 2 glasses of wine for €12 until the fair closes.
