Château de Manissy presented its Tavel Rosé at Vinexpo Hong Kong – a rosé that is reported to be a great match with Asia’s more spicy dishes. This strong aromatic wine, prolongs its freshness by an elegant and harmonious finish. It is a blend of Grenache, Clairette, Cinsault and Bourboulenc, from about 40 years old vines. The 30 hectare Tavel vineyard has very old plants growing on a soil of sand and pebbles, favourable for Rosé wines. Planted on soft slopes in the ancient bed dating from the Secondary Era, it benefits of a maximum of sun.
